"Inn on the Blue Horizon opened 9 years ago to a collective gasp among folks accustomed to the island's simpler, more casual properties.  Owner James Weis transformed an abandoned bluff-top villa with sweeping sea views just outside the coastal village of Esperanza into a stylish Great House.  Weis furnished its three guest rooms with elegant wooden furniture, a warm Mediterranean palette and a sense of airy comfort.  He has since expanded the Inn, adding six casitas and one suite, along with The Blue Macaw Restaurant and a bar restaurant popularly known as The Blu, all without compromising its distinctive intimacy.  The Sunrise Room is particularly romantic, with its four poster bed and French doors that welcome the constant sea breeze".
